About the role
You are a seasoned Quality Assurance Automation Engineer with an interest in the Cloud. You have previously been involved in designing and developing test strategies and test cases. You have all the technical skills for implementing and maintaining automated tests, a proven track record in software automation projects and the ability to understand complex software solutions. You have experience in all phases of the software development life cycle, from requirements gathering, designing CI/CD pipelines, integration testing, monitoring, and supporting production syst

How will you do it?
First month: The onboarding process starts. You will be having scheduled meetings with the main stakeholders of the different teams in order to get an overall understanding about all company products and specifically focused on the projects you will be working on. You will start participating in the scrum ceremonies and also reviewing the QA processes and the stack o
f tools. After
3 months: Now you are able to start contributing to the existing test automation strategy and collaborating in the QA tasks on a daily basis. Since now you have the overall view of the products, you are able to propose new initiatives and new testing strategies and start workin
g on them.
6 months in: Now you are fully aware of all the company products and the main testing frameworks in place and you have the know-how to work with them. You became a key member of the team and you are contributing in a successful way to the different development phases. You are creating comprehensive test automation suites, frameworks, validation jobs and reports on a
daily basis.
Requirements
Strong experience in test automation frameworks. Experience in testing back-end interfaces. Experience working at least 3 years as a QA Engineer. Experience with the Cloud environment. (AWS)
Exposure in the whole phase of the Software Development Life Cycle; from requirements gathering, designing test plan, integration testing, functional and regression testing, debugging issues, and supporting
of production. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to set priorities and multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency in Python and knowledge in Scripting languages. Database knowledge: SQL, NoSQL. Necessary skills to perform root cause analysis when defects occur. BSc/BA in Computer Science or Engineering or equivalent.
Nice to have
Experience with querying document-oriented & search databases like Elasticsearch
Familiar with creating microservices in the cloud using platforms like AWS. Knowledge of CI/CD or orchestration tools. Understanding of performance testing and evaluation. Previous experience as a software developer or an architect.
