The figure, placed in the Financial Department reporting to the Accounting Responsible, will manage all the accounting functions.RESPONSIBILITIES: Manage all accounting functions within the company

Manage all the month-end close and financial reporting, including Revenue, AP (+ageing), and GLEnsure month end and year-end closings are reliable and performed within required deadlines (IFRS and each Local accounting standards), with strict deadlines

Coordination with external consultants for fiscal declarations and needs.Assist auditors.Preparation of yearly Financial StatementsParticipate in the accounting reporting process

Manage specific internal control environment cycles and managing internal control.Journal entries and accruals

Intercompany control

Assets and depreciation registration PROFILE:Bachelor in Business Administration, Economics or similar

Experience at an international accounting department or Big Four or similar outsourcing department.

Experience working for an international environment & cross-functional and networked organization and monthly reporting experience. Superior communication skills in English , both spoken and written, to effectively address and influence all levels within the organization. Portuguese or Italian will be consider a plusSAP knowledge Proficiency ExcelLocal Portugal rules and IFRS.

ITA GAAP (desirable)Retail accountancy experience (desirable)Good organizational and planning skills
