Quality Assurance Assistant

In a nutshell

This role is all about making sure our suppliers meet our high standards for quality and safety. Youll be the go-to person for gathering and organising important documents from our suppliers, making sure they have the right certifications (like IFS, Organic, and GLOBALGAP). Youll also be a key communicator, working with different teams within the company and with our external partners (like quality inspectors and suppliers) to keep everything running smoothly and ensure were always following the rules.

Day-to-day responsibilities:

Supplier Documentation Support:

• Collect and organise supplier documents, such as questionnaires, audit reports, and certificates, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
• Maintain supplier files and databases, keeping information up-to-date.
• Assist in the preparation of supplier documentation for audits and reviews.

Onboarding & Compliance:

• Support the supplier onboarding process by gathering and verifying required documentation.
• Track and monitor supplier compliance with regulatory standards and internal requirements.
• Assist in maintaining records to demonstrate compliance with food safety regulations.

Quality Assurance Assistance:

• Support quality assurance activities by coordinating sample management for customer complaint investigations.
• Assist in the review and update of the Olive Oil Protocol to ensure accurate documentation for shipments.
• Help maintain and organise records related to food safety certifications (e.g., IFS Broker, IFS Logistics).

Communication & Collaboration:

• Distribute relevant information and updates on food safety regulations and quality initiatives to colleagues.
• Assist in scheduling and coordinating supplier visits and audits.
• Provide administrative support to the Quality Assurance and Procurement teams.

Requirements needed for this role:

• Bachelors degree or equivalent in Agricultural Science, Biology, Chemistry, Food Science or other related discipline.
• Based in Seville or within a commutable distance to the office.
• Fluency in Spanish and English.
• You must be comfortable with new technology, and exploring new tools such as AI in order to streamline and modernise our processes.
