Currently we are looking for a Product Design Architect who will be the responsible of the integration of the powertrain organ in the vehicle leading no matter which exchange on packaging purposes using CAD tools (CATIA & 3D Experience), assembly process, design needs & evolutions.
What you will do
- Define what needs to be developed or modified in the system for incoming projects based on project manager inputs.
- Lead design modifications, proposals, and iterations with the rest of the design team from the upstream phase until the start of mass production.
- Track every issue (KI) from a packaging point of view based on HORSE standards.
- During the industrialization phase, manage all assembly problems in the vehicle factory and lead their resolution.
- At every milestone, assess the packaging status of the project.
What we are looking for
- Education:
- Degree in Design Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.
- Preferred: Masters in Automotive Engineering or Project Management.
- Experience:
- Experience in design activities and project management is highly valued.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in CAD tools (CATIA & 3D Experience).
- Knowledge of ISO GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing).
- Experience in the design of assembly and sub-assemblies.
- Understanding of manufacturing processes.
- Knowledge of powertrain systems.
- Experience with project management tools (e.g., JIRA).
- Languages:
- English (mandatory).
- French (valued but not mandatory).
- Personal & Professional Skills:
- Strong teamwork abilities.
- Effective workload and workforce management skills
