• Design, build & refine optimization models: Develop metaheuristic algorithms (simulated annealing, constraint programming, etc.) and explore mathematical‑programming approaches.
• From prototype to production: Write clean, tested Python, review peers code; deploy services through our CI/CD pipeline.
• Monitor & improve performance: Profile algorithms, tune parameters, track KPIs, and ship incremental improvements.
• Expand beyond optimization: Take on projects in forecasting, experimentation design, causal inference, or ML as business needs evolve.
• Collaborate & Communicate: Work closely with operations, scheduling, finance and IT teams to turn data and constraints into actionable solutions.
• Stay ahead of trends: Apply new industry methods and academic research to enhance workflows and processes.

What will make you succeed in this position:

• Degree in a quantitative field (like Statistics, Mathematics, Physics, Engineering, or Computer Science), and youre eager to apply that knowledge in practical, business-driven ways.

• 1+ year of hands-on experience in optimization, data science, operations research, machine learning, or software development — and youre looking for your next challenge.

• You write clean, well-structured Python code, and you care about quality, testing, and writing code that lasts.

• Comfortable working with SQL and relational databases to dig into the data and uncover insights.

• Youre a creative problem solver — you enjoy exploring new approaches, tuning models, and iterating to find what works best.

• You can explain complex ideas clearly and work well with non-technical teams — because you know that collaboration is key to turning data into action.

• Fluency on English and Spanish, and youre confident navigating bilingual environments.
